Phillips debuted its live jewelry auctions with a successful New York sale totaling $2.8 million in June.
The auction's 9.81-carat emerald and diamond ring exceeded its estimate at $165,000. Also sold were Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, Bulgari, and Oscar Heyman items.
